The City of Wildomar is pleased to announce the culmination of two years of community-driven planning for the City’s future: publication of the City’s Draft 2040 General Plan and accompanying Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR). This represents the City’s first comprehensive update of the General Plan since incorporation in 2008.
The Plan has been shaped by an extensive outreach process that engaged community members and decision-makers at every stage of the planning process. Based on their guidance, the updated General Plan defines the community’s vision of the City for the next two decades and provides goals, policies and implementation actions that will direct the City’s policies towards attaining the vision.
Community members are welcome to submit comments on the Draft General Plan to the project team via email at mbassi@cityofwildomar.org until June 24, 2024. Comments will be considered by the City’s Planning Commission and City Council when they review the document for approval and adoption in the Summer of 2024.
The Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the project is available for a 45-day public review from Thursday, May 9, 2024, until June 24, 2024. The DEIR and the Notice of Availability can be accessed via the links below.
