On December 9, 2024, Wildomar’s City Council unanimously adopted Envision Wildomar 2040, the result of 2.5 years of community-driven planning for the City’s future. The General Plan defines the community’s vision of the City for the next two decades and provides goals, policies and implementation actions that will direct the City’s policies and decisions toward attaining that vision.
At the same meeting, the Council adopted updates to the City’s Development Code and certified the associated Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The General Plan and Development Code were updated comprehensively for the first time since the City’s incorporation in 2008 and are tailored to Wildomar’s unique context and vision for the future.
